Young was born on September 22, 2000, and grew up in a family that loved cricket in Barbados. He spent much of his childhood at his grandparents’ home in St. James. His grandfather often watched cricket matches on television with him, which helped him learn more about the game from a young age.
He started playing organized cricket when he was about nine years old. A school teacher encouraged him to take part in an Under-11 match, and his progress was quick. International Cricket Career
