Early Life & Background
He was born on September 8, 1992, in Bridgetown, Barbados. He grew up in a family that loved cricket, which helped him learn the game from a young age.
His father, Shirley Clarke, also played first-class cricket and inspired Kyle to become a cricketer. As a child, Kyle showed natural talent in both batting and bowling. He practiced a lot on local cricket grounds. Over time, he became a strong left-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler.
Kyle later played for Barbados in youth tournaments. He was also selected for the West Indies Under-19 cricket team in the 2012 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

Kyle Mayers International Cricket Career
Mayers made his T20 International debut against the New Zealand national cricket team in November 2020.
His Test debut came in February 2021 against the Bangladesh national cricket team. In that match, he played an amazing innings and scored 210 not out. It was one of the best debuts in Test cricket.
He made his One Day International debut in January 2021, also against the Bangladesh national cricket team.
During his international career, he played 18 Test matches, 28 ODIs, and 41 T20I matches for the West Indies cricket team.

Kyle Mayers CPL Career
He started playing in the Caribbean Premier League early in his career. Over the years, he played for several teams in the tournament.
At first, he played for the Barbados Tridents. Later, he also represented the St Lucia Zouks and the Barbados Royals. In 2024, he joined the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
In total, he played 89 matches in the CPL. During these games, he scored 1,545 runs with an average of 20.06. His strike rate was 126.33, and he scored eight half-centuries.
